Airsoft BB Rifles

Electric airsoft rifles (AEGs) allow you shoot in semi-auto mode, making them ideal for players of all levels. Gas-powered rifles are the most advanced and require frequent maintenance, so they’re usually best for airsoft experts.
Adopting a shoulder-width stance with your dominant foot forward, draw your finger straight back on the trigger without disturbing your point of aim. Make sure you maintain the same position and direction of pull throughout, even after you’ve fired. This will prevent the trigger from snatching.
To clean the barrel of your airsoft rifle, use a strip of paper towel sprayed with a silicone lubricant and threaded through a rod. Insert the rod into the barrel and gently rotate it to clean the inside.
Airsoft magazine maintenance will depend on the type of airsoft gun you have. For spring-powered guns and AEGs, ensure you empty the magazine after each use to preserve the spring strength.
Finally, to lubricate your airsoft rifle, remove the magazine and fire a few times in semi-auto mode to clear the hop-up. Next, flip the gun upside down on your lap and spray some silicone oil into the hop-up a few times. Remember to use the oil sparingly and allow it to seep into the hop-up.
