The word! Yeah, that's pretty much it. Airsoft is a sport (similar to paintball) where you fire BB's from a BB Gun at your opponents. People who play airsoft call their guns 'airsoft guns' where as people who don't play the sport generally refer to the guns as 'BB guns'. Call them what you want, airsoft or BB guns, they both do the same thing.
